Replying to a message of Sean Dennis to Roger Nelson: RN>> That's right! I'd forgotten about the lack of support for USB ports RN>> in OS/2. There should be a workaround for that problem somewhere on RN>> the 'net. I'd better find it before my OS/2 machine arrives. SD> Actually, that's not true completely. It's the lack of drivers for SD> the particular equipment; there is plenty of support for USB under SD> OS/2, but eCS has all of the "updated" drivers, et al. When you get SD> the machine, email me. I am looking for a particular piece of hardware. A 5-1/4" floppy disk drive. I have several but I need a specific *type* of drive, one with a SCSI interface instead of the 'normal' floppy disk interface. It's for an NCR Tower 16/32 box that I want to resurrect. I have a set of boot floppies that should work for it but no drive to load them with. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 300/3 14/5 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
