You are correct about that.  When I decided to set this BBS up again using
Maximus instead of RA I took a copy of the Elist and configured every echo
listed.  95% of those listed echoes have no traffic, and apparently are kept
current in the elist by various robots and not by people.  Shucks, Thom uses
a robot to automate his elist, so it's basically a bunch of robots talking to
each other and producing a montly listing.
