Unless you need to edit before saving, you can do that from 
the BW reading screen.  

The passing is done by your setup of your external programs 
in the BW Config screen.  

Here's my setup for BOXER: 


Global  Archivers  *External* Directories  Registration   Quit
ÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ
 Message Editor Cmd  C:\wp\boxer\b.exe -kx -ks -b -i -w78 {at}F 

Yours will vary.  

BTW, you can save messages from the files packet, but I didn't 
see a way to make a global change of the file name.  There are 
some other commands that may be useful in directory/file selecting.
