subject: A Hillary - Kennedy Ticket In 2012?

Recently, I was reading an article on the Yahoo news site called "NY Governor:
Caroline Kennedy Wants Senate Seat", and some interesting thoughts occurred to
me.

If there is one thing we should know, it is that Hillary Rodham Clinton
doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer. The woman is
extremely ambitious
and power-hungry. She is not just going to be content with being Secretary of
State. There is an old saying, "Keep your friends close, and your enemies even
closer". Perhaps that is the strategy that Barack Obama is currently employing
by selecting Clinton as his Secretary of State. But is Obama playing with
fire?

You have to wonder, who is using who by having Clinton as the Secretary of
State? Is Obama just protecting his own interests, or is Clinton also using
Obama as a stepping stone, to keep herself in the political limelight, on the
way to becoming the next president of the USA?

Obama obviously has some very serious challenges to face in the months and
years ahead. But what if things don't go well for him during the next four
years? What if his popularity drops, even though the current problems in the
USA are not of his making?

Well imagine this: What if by the time 2012 comes around, Obama is doing
poorly, and Clinton decides to oppose him during the 2012 presidential
campaign? Who would make a good vice presidential running mate?

While Caroline Kennedy was not appointed by the governor of New York to fill
Clinton's shoes as the new senator from New York, a lot can still happen with
her between now and 2012. Look at what Obama accomplished. He did the
impossible. He went from being someone who very few people knew, to becoming
the next president of the USA, so Caroline Kennedy could still become a hot
candidate by 2012.

I honestly don't know what kind of a relationship exists between Kennedy and
Clinton, but would a Clinton/Kennedy presidential ticket be unstoppable, no
matter who the Republicans were to throw at them? Who knows; but just
Kennedy's namesake alone would win them a lot of support. Add to that
Clinton's popularity with women, (allegedly 17 million supporters), and it
would be one powerful ticket.

Personally, I just don't put anything past the scheming Clintons.

What do you think?
