Which has what to do with WW2?

Did you forget that we were attacked and that we had Germany declare war on us?

and if you want to believe some theory that there was prior US knowledge of
the Pearl Harbor attack, then perhaps the proper response would have been
to pre-emptively strike at the Japanese to prevent such attack, which would
have netted the same end results.
