I did findout how to do what I needed. The FileDateToDateTime and 
DateTimeToFileDate routines in Delphi did the trick...I didn't find these 
because they were not in the DateTime functions, they were in the File 
management and I just overlooked them. Anyway, the code example you sent 
appeared to have some nice things in it so it has been saved to disk :)
