I've actually never noticed any particularly strong influence beyond the
obvious bit in the end section.  What strikes you as being "extreme 
Genesis influence" besides that?

I definitely agree, but then, if you listen to just "Incubus", it 
becomes equally obvious that they've done worse.  And that's before they
sold out.
