It's those pesky electrons. They don't sit still to let you
focus on them...

As I recall, you have a version of BW. It should matter too much
as to which one...

What you need to do is find out how to d/l and u/l mail packets from/to
DOC's. I believe you can do that from the settings you can edit
while online at DOCs.

If I was you, I'd start with a sort of test Echo where you won't
have to worry much on lost messages. More than likely, you should
be able to read messages online that you have already d/l'd.

ISTR that DOCs will be sending a QWK-style packet. BW can read that.
But, you will need to get Dale Shipp's BWREPFIX onto your system.

I don't need it for my setup, but I doubt that you want to try to
emulate my configuration! In any event, it's a one-time configuration
change in BW as to how the packets are opened and closed. It's
only a few keystrokes in the BW Config file.

One thing to note though, don't expect to see the correct headers, etc
when you view your replies in BW 'View Mode'. They will be fudged!
However, if set properly, your messages will come through fine when
you send them.

If there's a problem we'll let you know on this end.

As it is, I think the place to start is in finding out in the DOCs
menus as to how to get DOCs to d/l a message packet. And, don't
forget to note the directories where you download them into and
where it expects to find your reply packets for uploading.

It should be quite similar to your old BBS methods...
