I use a "16 bit" MAP.EXE under NT and it works file, including keeping the
mappings when you exit the DOS window.
Whether Novell provides a MAP command written for the OS isn't the question.
The question is inheritance. Which NT allows. Which OS2 allows. Which
apparently Windows 95 doesn't.
Your suggestions on using NET USE are meerly an alternative to MAP. I wonder
if they suffer from the same problem.
There is no way to NET USE a search drive however.

I use the system login script and have the Windows 95 client run it. This
maps drives that stay everywhere.
