Hey Bo! Oct 08 21:41 03, Bo Simonsen wrote to Maurice Kinal: BS> Okay! The problem is that if I switch between X and console, the BS> blinking D's come.. Ah! I have seen simular things on other graphic cards. Do you have a kernel with framebuffers enabled for your particular graphics card/chip? I wouln't know. That has never happened to me. Even back when I had my first PC I had a compiler on DOS. Later on I switched to DJGPP since it most closely resembled gcc. A little buggy but at least I didn't have to worry so much about portability. Fortran was a whole other can of worms. I'm glad those days are behind me although every once and awhile I get the urge to break out some source. It goes away though. :-) Life is good, Maurice --- Msged/LNX 6.1.1* Origin: LMBrain Pointy System (1:153/401.1) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 153/401 307 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
