The software Thom uses isn't exactly a robot. It needs the input of
moderator email/netmail updates to function. Those are input manually or
automatically at Thom's descretion (most are manually input). The monthly
reports are extracted by Thom manually and then posted by the software. I
suspect that he hasn't figured out how to do all this by batch file, thus
the manual operations are required to make it work.
