As a point, you aren't really dealing with quite the same issues as those of us using the bbs directly do... The BW reader reads both QWK and native BW packets. One of the upgrades in 2.20 and following was building in the QWK capability, as before that one had to use another utility to transform what the BW reader made for a packet into one that could be used in a QWK door. The native BW packets didn't have the Y2K date problem, as the structure was different, which is why Dale Shipp's fix is just for the QWK .rep packets, not the BW .new reply packets. ttyl neb ... Aging is not bad.
