That's what they were both originally created for. You don't have to like them,
but FTN was the developers of BOTH softwares' only intent.

You may have moved on from DOS, but as you've been able to see over the years,
you're outnumbered a couple thousand to one in the realm of FTN. People still
use what they are comfortable using in regards to this hobby. There's still BBS
softwares from the 80s and early 90s being used - because that's what people
want to run. *shrug*
