Thanks for putting Andrew straight, be fascinating to see if he actually admits his error |-) PE> Actually, if Rod wasn't such a stick-in-the-mud SOT/EOT would rapidly PE> take off, because he would be generating them with PQWK! Hey Rod, if PE> I modify PQWK202 to add in the *ONE* change (I'll show you the source PE> code) to generate SOT/EOT, will you switch to that? I'll call it PE> PQWK202B. No way, thats even worse, splitting the development stream |-) More seriously, nope, the original code is such an abortion that I have no confidence that its clear what its doing. And even if I was confident, on something which matters, I STILL wont do anything except proper testing. On this point system in total, I have actually now seen atleast 5 actual faults, bugs, warts, blemishes etc, most of which just silently delete mail without the slightest warning or any complaint at all. That one a couple of days ago will likely make me get off my arse and do a proper standalone message counter for PKTs atleast relatively soon tho. Mainly coz even with the current versions of code I am using, there are now about 4 know silent mail deleters which become visible with some unusual occurrence. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 690/718 711/809 934 @PATH: 711/934 |
