 Hello, Tony....

RM> It's good to hear from someone in Europe. Write often and

That I don't know, but you're the first that I have "spoken" to in
Europe...your English is quite good...my Spanish dates from high school
and college and is very poor now (45 years later).
RM> let us know what's going on in your area - what aircraft,

TS> Here in spain base materials are very expensive... the price of things

Well, we feel that most things here are very expensive, also, but I was
not aware that your home costs are so much !!!! I also order much of my
hobby materials from the same places you mention.
TS> Most used engines here are O.S. and radio equipment is mainly Futaba,

I have several OS engines but most of mine are Supertigre - I use Futaba
and JR radios - my favorite radio being the JR X-347. My best flying
aircraft is the Goldberg Extra 300 with a ST 90 and a Futaba radio, but
it is currently undergoing repairs for cowl and wheel pants. I also like
the Balsa USA models and I plan to build the big Taube for my Winter
project - I am currently flying the Phaeton 90 (ST 90 and Futaba)
 biplane.

TS> Ducted Fan are rare pieces around the country and turbine I think are
TS> the same way (but this time around all Europe O:-)) )...

There are no ducted fans running in either my or close-by clubs yet. My
club is preparing a new flyig field now and we are putting in a 275 feet
paved strip for ducted fan aircraft - the main runway is 650 x 100 feet
and is grassed. I am installing a water sprinkler system to help us get
through the very hot summers we have here in South Carolina. Please
write again and tell us what you are flying and something about your
group of pilots. TTYL - Roger
