it actually is something that happens several times during the development of
new versions. I have done this numerous times during the beta-cycle of tse
v2.00 --> 2.50(a).
What I do is this :
I keep the previous ui fies and rename them accordingly. e.g. tse249l.ui and
tse249l.cfg for instance. Then I do a diff between the files and that is the
part I'm using to reconstruct the custom file.
other entry-points are the whatsnew files and the ref.chg file.
I know it's somewhat painful to do it every time.
