I would strongly suggest you buy at least two books and STUDY them 
before you go.  We recommend "The Unofficial Guide to WDW" as probably the 
best overall book.  Based on your son's age, we would suggest "WDW For Kids 
By Kids".  Both should be available in the trael section of any large 
bookstore; the latter also in a Disney Store.
   
     The reason we suggest STUDYING beforehand is it will give you an idea of 
what is going on , let you select in advance what you are interested in 
doing, and to a small extent preparing a "game plan".  You do not want to be 
down there, spending a few hundred dollars a day, and wasting a lot of time 
figuring out what yo want to do and/or standing in the longest lines.
