I have periodically maintained applicances. I have change hoses on
diskwashers and washing machines, I have changed plugs on many sorts of
appliance.

So from what you're saying, if your washing machine develops a poor seal on
the hot or cold water inlet pipe, would you call out a "appliance
technician" or would you go out & by a new pip, pull out the
machine & change the pipe?
