They did that to a European company that had a native OS/2 product that allowed
one to run *any* M$ OS as a client under it.  I have a box here configured with
it, and with W95 and W98 virtual machines under it, it's kind of neat to play with.

Yep.  Also eliminates any possible source(s) of competition.
