But how does it work??

1. You do a whois search for the above URL. 2. Some scummy registrar
(chestertonholdings) notices (1) and adds your URL to their domain kiting
list.

How do they monitor your whois?
Are you using a web site whois, and they control the web site?

If you used a traditional whois client, how would a query for SomeNonExistentName.com
result in chestertonholdings monitoring the query?
