KMart holdings is controlled by another company.  More then likely the same
company that controls Burger King, and several more.  The sad part is what they
are doing to Sears, at least here in Canada.  Bleeding it dry, and closing
support depts, repair facilities, and stores.  They even closed the flagship
store.  I am hoping that they do not do the same thing with BK and Tim's but
the similarities are there.
