meh. I suppose this problem has nothing to do with 64-bit. Though it MAY
belong to 1.4 branch. Anyway. If I recall correctly from earlier reports,
there were either bad tic files, or mistakes in config, or outdated version
of  htick... or people just refused to give more info about problem.
