You should see last year's white iBook after a year's hard use.  The
battery gaps, likewise the lid's latch.  Scuffs on glossy white look
particularly sad. The screen backlight loses lots of ill-affordable
brightness.  Mine's not this bad yet, but I'll never give in an cover it
with cutesy stickers, like the kids.

What Jobs needs is to be locked in a cell with a nice cracked beige tower
with the side missing, and a G5's guts inside.  A guard will apply fresh pb
'n j to the keyboard each morning.
