I remember that incident.  I also remember that after that, she did get
issued a CCW permit and when she was interviewed, she mentioned that she
had more rights than anyone of us and thus it was ok for there to have a
handgun.
Doesn't Barbara Boxer have a CCW as well?
Another recent incident of her involved internet and information. 
Apparently the internet provided some information about her SS# and home
address in SF that she is now pushing a restriction on that type of
information....well perhaps only with "her" information, but for other
people she wants as much information as possible....politics: not about
public representation, but rather personal power.
The "B" word does fit her to a T.
