Hey Nicholas!

I just took a looksee at the latest stable source and it looks like it might be
doable on my current build (sysvinit based). The only issue is I am lacking
some of it's desirable dependencies and if I really cared about emulating DOS
it could be taken care of. Not convinced I want to though. I am happy running
native apps on my two currently working boxes; i486-pc-linux-gnu (32-bit only)
and x86_64-atom-linux-gnu (64-bit only). Other than the bitness the only other
difference is the kernel versions; currently 3.10.63 on the 32-bit system and
3.14.27 on the 64-bit one.

I definetly want to try a different systemd version before making any hasty
decisions about committing to it. I wasn't entirely happy with my last attempt
despite it 'working'. Sure booted up fast but my sysvinit based boots aren't
exactly what I'd call slow. There might be some fun to be had playing around
with systemd.

Life is good,
Maurice
