Hey Gert!

GA> Then with carefully try to make a extra sync and emerge compile of

That makes sense. According to kernel.org the latest stable supported 3.17
kernel is 3.17.7 and if that is an option I'd be inclined to go with that
version and avoid 3.16 ones. I tried 3.18.1 with systemd recently and had
fairly good luck with it boot-wise but I have issues with systemd-218
especially with tty's. At this writing I am not sure it was something I did or
that particular version. I've read that some have had better luck with
systemd-213 and might have a looksee at that before committing to kernel and
systemd versions.

GA> So the best way is to recompile the kernel when it has working for
GA> python and is boot by harddisk so it is been done on the harddisk.

Personally I am not a big fan of python and have been avoiding needing it but
am sure that the Gentoo people would disagree with me. Same could be said for
the Debian and probably the Archlinux crowd ... not to mention the Android
dweebs while I am at it. ;-)

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
