From: "Friends" CHAPTER 28 Psalms 28:1 1 A Psalm of David. Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. Psalms 28:2 2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. Psalms 28:3 3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. Psalms 28:4 4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. Psalms 28:5 5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. Psalms 28:6 6 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. Psalms 28:7 7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalms 28:8 8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. Psalms 28:9 9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever. CHAPTER 29 Psalms 29:1 1 A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Psalms 29:2 2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalms 29:3 3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. Psalms 29:4 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. Psalms 29:5 5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. Psalms 29:6 6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. Psalms 29:7 7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire. Psalms 29:8 8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. Psalms 29:9 9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. Psalms 29:10 10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. Psalms 29:11 11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. CHAPTER 30 Psalms 30:1 1 A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. Psalms 30:2 2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. Psalms 30:3 3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Psalms 30:4 4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Psalms 30:5 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalms 30:6 6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. Psalms 30:7 7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. Psalms 30:8 8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. Psalms 30:9 9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? Psalms 30:10 10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. Psalms 30:11 11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; Psalms 30:12 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. -+- http://www.s-f-i.biz - Looking for Christian Partners to build a business http://www.family-topsites.com - Family Oriented Topsites http://lypha.ekklesia-online.org - Extremely Affordable Web Hosting 5.95 - no disk or bandwidth limits http://www.baptist-ministries.org - Independent Baptist Web Portal --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: http://www.familynet-international.net (972)-496-0650 (8:8/2003) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 393/11 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 8/2003 1 2 266/512 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
