Yes to the ....

Wes was trying to clean up the code to have type defs for all variable
types, so that a common set can be used to allow compiling on a number of
systems, including both 64 bit and 32 bit systems.  Not all the code has
been cleaned up surounding this issue.  Take a hard look at
.../maximus/slib/typedefs.h and see if there is something you can define to
get FreeBSD to see what it needs.  Or maybe you will need to add some
#ifdef or similar lines to typedefs.h to get whata you need for FreeBSD. 
As noted in the porting logs, this is still a work in progress.  Come join
us in getting things fixed up for running on your platform of choice.
