Hello Shawn, On 17 Aug 14 11:42, Shawn Highfield wrote to Nicholas Boel: SH> I can only speak for myself. THough the SH> shipping (If you are outside of the GTA and can't pick up) wouldn't be SH> worth it as the parts obviously have no value. At the moment, I'm using an AMD Athlon64 single core with 2gb ram for my BBS machine. The only downfall is that it is a 939 socket processor and doesn't support AMD-V, so no virtualization is possible. I would like to switch up to a system that does support virtualization, so I can put my two testing VMs onto the same machine as my main hub node and leave my gaming rig alone (at the moment I'm running a VM 24/7 on my gaming system, which it would be nice to leave my main computer for everything else BUT BBS related stuff. :) Obviously, if I were to build a new gaming machine, my current i5 would be more than enough to do what I want with it in regards to virtualization and the BBS stuff. But then I feel like I'd be wasting a still somewhat upper-end good computer on dedication to servers when it could be used for so much more still.
