They are pretty much the same program.  The main difference is in 
high memory support.  

I'd use BW/386 but it doesn't work within my task switcher.  It 
works great in a standard shell to DOS.  But, I often have 3 or 
more other DOS programs open under SWITCHER.  SWs and BWs high 
memory hooks(?) don't like each other.  

And, 2.30 is the latest/last of the BW programs.
