True.

That's true, he's not; but again, I'm only admiring the scenery
(and such scenery!)

Oh, me too. I wouldn't mind meeting Billy Boyd or Dominic
Monaghan--or, as aforementioned, Elijah Wood. And Sean Astin has
a good sense of humor, too; it just doesn't come out in the
movie. :) But Billy and Dom are absolutely hysterical in
anything I've seen them in (interviews, I mean); the kind of guys
that would just be *fun* to be around, imho.

Exactly
And not every actor has "what it takes" to be in the movies. Me,
for instance; I can do character development in a play just fine,
but I can't imagine doing it in a movie.

McKellan. :)
Yes, he and especially Christopher Lee, who apparently has read
the trilogy once a year for decades.

THAT'S IT.
I *hate* it when I do that. I did that just a minute ago with
Christopher Lee's name. I had to call my niece and ask her. Grr.

Oh yes--no argument there.

Fair enough :)

Oh, well, Sean Connery. :)

I think Russ has something to say about that.......

Well, no. Darnitall, anyway.

So'm I. Though I know more than a few people who wish he'd left
Tom Bombadil in. (Understand why he was left out, tho.

I really only paid close attention to Shadowfax.
