I just upgraded my Gentoo kernel to 3.17.7-gentoo i686 and my door games under
dosemu are still working fine. They were also working just fine when I was
running 3.16.5 prior to that.

Is it possible this is a 64bit issue? I don't have a 64bit Gentoo VM to test it
on, nor do I care to set one up.. :)

What? I didn't catch anything about the fact that he was missing python. Though
he may have upgraded to python 3.3 or 3.4 which might have caused issues, but I
doubt it.

Gentoo diehards apparantly don't know about flash drives (gentoo is on it's way
out over here whenever I'm not lazy and care to upgrade what's not broken). :)

BP>> 2: boot the cdrw, make sure its 64bit kernel selected

MK> Again, boot it with what?

CDRW? Heh, at LEAST step up to a DVD or BluRay burner. :)

 BP>> giving up ?

 MK> I never started. ;-)

Me neither. :)

Nick
