Greetings from somebody who used to work at Kirtland AFB! I love those long
e-mail display names.

It sounds like you have three separate issues...

1. Automatic parentheses/brackets/quotes insertion. TSE uses the insmatch
macro to do this. Simply remove the insmatch macro from the AutoLoad list.

I didn't understand what you meant by the other two...

1. What do you mean by "TSE clipboard style"?

2. What do you mean by "C mode" getting in the way?
