subject: Update on Brad Bagan

The following information was received on Brad Bragan from Ginny Schmidt,
District Advancement Chairperson, Longhorn Council BSA.
Update on Brad Bagan, Eagle Scout with spinal injury:
Brad Bagan, hospitized in Englewood, Colorado, after a spinal injury received
in a high school football game last fall, has been making tremendous
progress. He will "make it". He has movement on his right side and now is
regaining movement on his left side. He is scheduled to come home (North
Texas near Lewisville) in early February. His recovery can be directly
attributed to everyone doing the "right thing", especially his fellow Eagle
Scouts who immediately surrounded and shielded him from being moved until
medical help arrived. Brad and his family attribute part of his recovery to
the prayers and well wishes he received from Scouts all over the world
during his hospital stay. Once again, Scouts and Scouters came through!
