I wouldn't jump to that conclusion if I were you. Clipper programmers and 
users
are primarily DOS/Win users, and therefore most of them have little 
xperience
with similar development systems on other environments.
Maybe OnCmd is vastly used in unix or OS/2 environments, but even then you
wouldn't receive 'tons of positive replies' in this echo. It just isn't 
DOS/Win,
so most readers of this area just wouldn't know...
Including myself, even if I'm using OS/2 for about 5 years now.
