I presume you have verified that nothing else is opening or has opened
that file at the same time, such as a backup program, or an anti-virus
program. You may want to flag the files Sharable, to see if AutoCAD
relaxes a bit.
If you have another machine, have you tried it on the other machine?
This can help tell you if it's a configuration problem on one
workstation.
