Hiya.
Just finished reading the first two installments of Peter David's "New 
Frontier".
Interesting stuff.
First part mostly introduction of the captain and his background.  Riker gets 
a good rant off his chest.  Guest shots by Picard, Spock (NOT A spoiler, 
they're on the cover) and others you'll recogize from TNG.
Second part gets everyone onto the Excalibur and off on the adventure which 
will presumably fill the latter two installments come next month.
Initial Opinion:  Fun grouping of characters.  Hoping htis sells well and 
Pocket gives us more of Calhoun and Co. in the future.
