Actually the information I was given says your wrong Rodney. The original
information of Atari US's layoffs, fireings, ect was done by Atari France. I
was told that Ted Hoff in perticular was EXTREAMLY upset that this
information was leaked so close to the Christmas season. I think his words
were along the lines of "They could not have picked a worse time to make this
announcement" This was told to me by a person that talked to him shortly
after the rumors started on the InterNet. From the point of its release by
Atari France it was then blown out of proportion by all conserned.
