 ac> Microsoft QuickC 2.5 packs (or aligns) structures at 2-byte

 ac> boundaries, by default. 



easy just issue #pragma pack(1) before your structure to turn on byte

alignment and #pragma pack() after to go back to the default

alignment, usually word alignment.
