BinkD was not easy, let me tell you.  Plus, you can't run it as a daemon
(The Amiga general only have 2-8 Megs of memory) as it would chew up all of
the memory.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the Amigas programming structure, but
it sounds to me that you would have to build fidoconf and smapi as libraries
and work on hticks code to pull from those libraries.  I'm quite familiar
with how the husky suite works, but i'm not sure the small processor and
memory map of the Amiga will handle all of this, but I have already started
to work on smapi.  I'll let everyone know how it goes.
