Hi Bo, PK> The following is a rather verbose message I sent to PK> Scott outlining what happened here and in reply he PK> confirmed my finding's, however I can't find his PK> reply.....;-( I thought he said that future code should PK> remove this issue but maybe it never got into the PK> source you are using. Anyway, the following might be of PK> use to you... BS> We might be able to correct for it. Just adding a extra BS> configuration parameter or? What would you propose. If I remember correctly, Scott was a little worried about one aspect of the QWK environment that _MIGHT_ allow a QWK user to do "bad things" to the BBS, the end result was part of the reason for the hard coded menu name. I really wish I still had his reply, it was quite involved... As for proposing something, well I don't know, I guess it depends on how configurable the system is in that area and what dangers may exist for external data (IE a QWK packet) to modify the way the BBS worked. Cheers.............pk. --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Another Good Point About OS/2 (3:772/1.10) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 772/1 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
