Good morning Maurice,

While my grandson is over in the US he is sending me UTF-8 coded mail.
It's readable but a bit annoying, so I have started to further develop
the conversion program that I have compiled into my Semware Editor v1.0.
From my GS's first letter I have already picked up the lower case umlaut
characters used in Europe. Now I'll ask him to also write the upper case
in his next mail to me so that I'll get the codes that IBM PC-8 shows in
reading UTF-8 coded text. I will also need the german and characters
and the german character could also be compiled into the set.
I have already many years ago programmed conversion sets from/to
ASCII, Latin 1, Mac and HTML to IBM PC-8 into the editor. The work
in progress will be to include conversions from/to UTF-8 / PC-8.
Have a nice day,
Holger
