Ward Dossche chatted with him on facebook -  Ward relayed info from Bill saying
that Bill's power line was clipped  by utility company workmen by accident..  I
guess the power loss fried some or all of Bill's equipment. Bill also later let
Ward know that he (Bill) was waiting for some insurance funds to rebuild his
system, etc.  I'm not sure how that worked out.. but that is probably why he's
been "away" for so long.  He's likely using a tablet or some such to talk on
facebook, but probably isn't really ready to do the whole fidonet thing yet.

So... Bill can text some on facebook but I have a feeling it will be a while
longer until he is really ready to come back to Fidonet. I miss his music
station as well :(
