subject: Clumping Cat Litter

  Hi to all,
I am new to this Forum and I'm glad to see a Forum dedicated to our lovable
felines. I have a couple of questions and I would appreciate some
feedback on these issues, your help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
        1. I am currently using a clumping cat litter for my two, 4.5 month
old kittens, I really enjoy the absence of the ammonia
odour that is usually associated with using traditional
             cat litter.
The problem that I am running into now, is, dust levels. I
have never had as much dust around as I have now since
using this clumping litter........ by the way, the product
does state "low dust" on it's container.
Does anyone out there, know of any clumping cat litter that
does not offer the same problem? Since I live in the
Ottawa area, I would need products that are available in
             this region.
        2. My other question: Plants!! Sounds familiar :) What
products are out there to deter cats from their feverish
attemps at getting into plants. I have heard of things
like, apple-bitter and orange-bitter, has anyone ever heard
of these products before and where can these be purchased?
             Thanks for your time,
             Jean-Pierre Fauchon
