The only "glitch" in this narrative is that I won't move to Vista
until the first service pack is available. (And I believe there is a
substantial number of people with a similar perspective.)

So the ship date of the first service pack is far more interesting than the
ship date of Vista itself, and one can surmise that the first service pack
will arrive up to a year after Vista does.

So I ain't holding my breath ... XP works and I'll be on it for a while yet.
