From: "John Beamish" I know about progressives (no line between the two different types of lenses -- that's what my brother uses) but I hadn't heard about variable power. I'm due for an eye exam in about six months. I'll muddle through until then so thanks for the suggestion. I'll discuss it with my doctor when I visit.
