From: "Friends" CHAPTER 13 Psalms 13:1 1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? Psalms 13:2 2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? Psalms 13:3 3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; Psalms 13:4 4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. Psalms 13:5 5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. Psalms 13:6 6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. CHAPTER 14 Psalms 14:1 1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 14:2 2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. Psalms 14:3 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Psalms 14:4 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD. Psalms 14:5 5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. Psalms 14:6 6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge. Psalms 14:7 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. CHAPTER 15 Psalms 15:1 1 A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? Psalms 15:2 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Psalms 15:3 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. Psalms 15:4 4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. Psalms 15:5 5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. -+- http://www.cyber-missions.com - Bob and Maureen Hoffman, Missionaries to Cyberspace http://storefront.ekklesia-online.com - Affordable domain name registration, hosting, email, loads more. http://www.kjv-1611.com - King James Version Top Bible Sites http://www.online-churches.org - a primer for putting your church online --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: http://www.familynet-international.net (972)-496-0650 (8:8/2003) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 250/306 SEEN-BY: 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 393/11 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 SEEN-BY: 2905/0 @PATH: 8/2003 1 2 266/512 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
