        The To: mangled field was due to the Y2K problem. BW was
  programmed with a small loop that added one to the year but when
  it hit 99 + 1=100 that made it three digits and it moved all
  characters over by one place. That was the Y2K fault.

 DC> The big question now is in how you d/l your mail from DOCS.  

        I use telnet. I am on cable here at 100 bps, this does not
  affect the year-date in BW. Thanks to Dale S., it has been
  solved by a small app that extracts the date from the system
  clock, I think, and corrects the Y2K dooeekie in BW.
