How interesting that a discussion like this takes place without the
slightest notice given to the above.

It is correct that most men won't wind up as secretaries, but when one is
discriminated against, not only because they don't fit a stereotype, but
because the boss wants to fuck the hot female who applies for the job, and
when they are likely to be looked down upon even if they are earning $40k a
year working 9-5, you get the same thing that women are whining about in the
sciences: cultural and actual bias.

Why won't women complain about this?  Well, the bias works in their favor
during the hiring process, now doesn't it?  Not for all women, of course:
ugly, older, and overweight women see their administrative options narrow
sharply once they turn 35, and almost vanish at 50 unless they become a
"house mom" (these are usually the best-looking women from that
age group as
well).

Why is it that women can dismiss men as not being interested in
female-dominated professions (despite the high pay), yet blame society for
an identical lack of interest on a woman's part?

How can women call themselves civil rights crusaders yet continue to profit
from gender bias?  One-way civil rights is no civil rights at all, but
another special interest group looking out for itself for selfish reasons.
