Hi Larry, thank you for you time and trouble in trying to speed up loading
of Q5FW!  I had a ton of probs on the first try, machine locked up, would
not boot, but did boot w/floppy.  After an hour of trying to put it back
the way it was, finally had to format and restore.  Thankfully, I had run a
total tape backup that afternoon.
My hd is 540mg, but it is partitioned to use only 528mg due to my type of
motherboard.  Maybe this was the problem, don't know, but it was a
nightmare!  Will retain your message for future use and if any success is
achieved, will keep you advised.  Hopefully in the near future, will
upgrade the mb and all will be fine. Thanks again! 8-)
